Biography

Dr. Hyun Jung (HJ) Park is an Assistant Professor of Human Genetics and Biostatistics at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health. Her research focuses on statistical genomics, with emphasis on understanding the genetic architecture of complex diseases through integrative multi-omics analysis and the development of novel computational and statistical methods.

Research Interests

Dr. Park’s research develops and applies statistical methods to dissect the genetic underpinnings of complex traits and diseases. Her lab integrates genomic, transcriptomic, and epigenomic data to identify functional variants and causal genes, with applications to neurological and psychiatric disorders.
