Biography

Dr. Eugene M. Sadhu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Pittsburgh and serves as Associate Chief Research Informatics Officer at UPMC. His work focuses on building scalable research data infrastructure, clinical decision support systems, and privacy-preserving methods for data sharing across institutions. He combines a background in mathematics, computer science, and medicine with expertise in informatics to bridge the gap between clinical data generation and research-ready data use.

Computational & Clinical Expertise

Dr. Sadhu’s expertise lies in clinical informatics, research data platforms, and the secure management of clinical and research data. He has led the design and implementation of tools supporting clinical operations, data governance, and large-scale federated research networks.

Research Interests
