Biography
Dr. Wagner pioneered the design of the Real-time Outbreak and Disease Surveillance (RODS) system, an open-source public health infrastructure that monitors clinical datasets to detect disease outbreaks before formal diagnoses are confirmed. He led the development of the National Retail Data Monitor (NRDM), a system that tracks over-the-counter retail sales data in near real time to analyze population-level health trends and anomalies.
