Biography
Dr. Young Ji Lee is an Associate Professor of Nursing and Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. Her research focuses on nursing informatics, patient-generated health data, mobile health technologies, and NLP applied to patient-reported outcomes and clinical notes to improve chronic disease self-management.
Research Interests
Dr. Lee’s research investigates how patient-generated health data from wearables, mobile apps, and patient portals can be integrated into clinical workflows to support chronic disease management. She develops and evaluates NLP methods for extracting meaningful information from patient-reported outcomes and clinical narratives.
