Abstract: Through few case studies, I will illustrate our work aimed the development and application of computational approaches for the analysis and integration of genomic assays, such as gene expression and SNP arrays, and high-throughput sequencing. I will show how the use of these in-silico methods can be successfully applied to the dissection and characterization of the molecular machinery of human malignancies and their response to environmental insults, with the dual goal of identifying new therapeutic targets and advancing more effective prevention.
