Doctoral Fellow Zachary Landis-Lewis has been invited to participate in the JAMIA Student Editorial Board for 2012-2013.
From the AMIA Website:
"Through the combined efforts of its editor, associate editors, and assistant editor, JAMIA has created a Student Editorial Board (SEB), formed by selecting outstanding trainees in Biomedical Informatics. The SEB is designed to provide hands-on experience to prospective Biomedical Informatics journal reviewers, and serves a variety of purposes. First and foremost, the SEB experience allows prospective reviewers to learn how to construct a well-written, critical, and constructive review. Each time an SEB member completes a review, it receives a careful critique by the Assistant Editor. In addition, SEB members receive copies of other reviewers’ comments once the editorial process is completed on the manuscript each individual reviewed. Each SEB member serves a two-year term."
