Pharmacy education continues to evolve, thus demanding innovative active learning to enhance pharmacotherapeutic knowledge and clinical skills.  Pharmacy based simulation education has been proven to enhance fundamental knowledge, improve learner confidence, enhance clinical performance, stimulate critical thinking, and decrease medication administration errors, all of which will be discussed throughout this presentation.  With the growing creativity of healthcare educators and implementation throughout pharmacy and interprofessional curricula, it is prudent to summarize the simulation strategies and frame these current issues.
