High Octane TCGA – PSC, SaM and DBMI win award at Supercomputing Meeting

With partners at Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center, DBMI staff and faculty won an HPCWire Award for Best Use of High Performance Data Analytics at Supercomputing 2015. The award recognized their work in using high performance computing to make the TCGA data more usable for cancer investigators. DBMI team members included Olga Medvedeva, Anish Chakka, Soumya Luther, Uma Chandran and Rebecca Jacobson. This work was jointly funded by the Institute for Personalized Medicine and University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute.
