Abstract: A unique Utah resource linking genealogy data for the Utah pioneers and their descendants to disease phenotype data for the entire state has allowed the identification of several predisposition genes for common cancers. Dr. Albright will review the resource, some unique approaches for finding genes in extended Utah pedigrees, and the potential future expansion of the resource.
